    saswad is the most historical place in maharashtra. Sopankaka Mandir,Bhairoba Mandir, Sangmeshwar, Vateshwar,Peshve wada,Purandar Fort,Narayanpur, Jejuri and most of the places in taluka. So please please visit all places.-VINAY PUROHIT

    I would like to get some information on Purandare wada located in saswad. I am a student of govt. engineering college,pune. Am doing a study on Saswad in attempt to conserve the prestigious wada and have visited the place couple of times. Why is Purandare wada closed always? Can we get to see the interiors of the wada? Whom should we contact for that? Also, if any one has any pictures of the wada inside, please mail me. Is any of the descendants of Shri Aabsaheb Purandare here in pune? I mean new generation of the family? Thank you.
